Open Studies:
TBI Vision Study
You may be eligible for a VA-funded research study at the Cleveland VA Medical Center that will help us develop new treatments for near vision problems related to TBI (concussion) and other conditions. We are looking for people both with and without a TBI history and for those who do and do not have trouble with near vision.
There are two parts to the study:
- Part 1 is a single visit of up to 2-3 hours for eye movement and vision testing using virtual reality
- Part 2 (if you are eligible) is a home trial to use a virtual-reality game to treat vision problems
You will receive a small stipend to reimburse you for your time.
Study Requirements
- Must be between 18 and 80 years old
- Have good vision with or without glasses in both eyes
- Have had a full eye exam within the past six months
