Activity-Based Neurorehabilitation
Activity-Based Neurorehabilitation consists of high impact projects that are oriented toward physical rehabilitation interventions. The goal of research projects such as Cycling and Adaptive Exercise is to increase mobility and muscle strength for Veterans with spinal cord injuries by stimulating and activating the nervous system. Other projects, such as virtual reality vestibular rehabilitation, aim to develop a more engaging and effective interactive tool for vestibular rehabilitation to improve the lives of Veterans affected with disorders of vestibular function and balance.
